WHAT IS MAGSAYO?

What started in 2008 as a simple love for Minecraft grew into a passion for building, leading to my first local server and eventually a creative team with Ronny, Bryan, and Gesille. Together, we explored servers, brands, media, and marketing—turning small dreams into award-winning projects.

When the pandemic hit in 2020, everything collapsed. But instead of quitting, I adapted, learned, and laid the groundwork for a stronger comeback.

Then in 2025, an unexpected connection changed everything. A single act of kindness led me to someone who not only believed in my vision—but wanted to build it with me. From that partnership, Magsayo Company was born—rooted in purpose, resilience, and the power of the right people.

OUR STORY

Chapter I – The Four

My journey began in 2008 with Minecraft, sparking a vision that led me to create my own local server game in 2011. The joy and support from young players fueled my passion, and in 2015, I met Ronny, who became a crucial part of my server.

Our collaboration eventually transitioned me into the marketing industry in 2016, where I met Bryan and Gesille. This new field ignited my hunger for knowledge, expanding my network and broadening my mindset, even after Ronny pursued other interests.

I recognized the unique talents in Ronny, Bryan, and Gesille, and despite their initial doubts, I rallied them to launch our own media venture. From being extras in a film to competing in and winning multiple categories at various film festivals, we built a strong, independent group, laying the groundwork for my four emerging industries: server, brands, media, and marketing.

Chapter II – Trials & Rise Up

The unexpected arrival of COVID-19 in 2020 dealt a harsh blow, dismantling the progress I had meticulously built. Yet, I refused to give up. I adapted, taking on various roles, including my first call center job, which helped me acquire the resources to slowly rebuild.

This period of adversity reinforced my belief that ‘Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.’ By 2022, I was strategically preparing for a comeback, applying lessons learned from past experiences to ensure a breakthrough.

Even personal setbacks in relationships ultimately contributed to my growth, solidifying my resolve to prioritize building a strong foundation.

Chapter III – Rebuild & A Right Partner

In 2025, an unexpected connection transformed everything. A chance encounter with a woman at work, whose name I discovered through a simple act of kindness, sparked my intuition. A few days later, a serendipitous second meeting with her in a random location confirmed my feelings.

I confidently reached out, and as we got to know each other, my sincerity and unconditional love, combined with her understanding of my vision, led to the birth of Magsayo Company. She not only supports my dreams but is also passionate about being part of them, proving to be a wonderful blessing.

This experience has taught me that the most invaluable asset in life isn’t wealth or power, but having the right partner who champions your vision and wants to build it with you.

My Story: From the Streets to a Vision

At the young age of 14, I found myself sleeping on the streets — sometimes in computer shops or burger stalls just to get through the night. The scent of cooking burgers would be my food, and the cold pavement my bed.

To survive, I did what I could: sold scraps, newspapers, and ice candy; watched over parked cars and motorcycles; and at times, I ate whatever clean but spoiled food I could find.

But even then, I learned how to fight and adapt. I picked up simple ways to earn, built small businesses, and most importantly, started building my confidence.

“No matter how hard life gets, just keep hunting to survive.”

In my mid-20s, I hustled harder. I carried a 40kg box filled with apples and oranges, selling fruit in the streets — inside government offices, NSO centers, terminals, and crowded public areas. I also sold pongko–pongko, simple street food.

I tried to pursue college, studying BSIT until my second year. But somewhere along the way, I discovered marketing — and everything changed. It opened my mind, expanded my vision, and awakened a fire in me to chase something bigger.

“I learned that confidence is your first powerful weapon to grow.”

Over time, I dived deeper into the media and business world. I wore many hats: I became a small business owner, media and production manager, team leader, advisor, director, talent manager, writer, production designer, actor, theater assistant director, cinematographer, photographer, talent scout, and entrepreneur.

Each role added new layers to who I was becoming — a builder of stories, ideas, and dreams.

“Always empty your cup to gain more capacity for knowledge and skills.”

Then COVID-19 struck, shaking everything I had built. But I knew — this wasn’t the end of my book. It was just another chapter.

With resilience and a clear vision, I refused to give up. And even more powerful than the vision itself, I found someone who didn’t just believe in it — they joined it. That’s when The Magsayo Company was born.

“The road to growth isn’t a straight line — it’s a fight, a fall, a rise, and a climb. But always, always keep going.”
